The Student Nurses Association is a student-lead organization that enables involvement throughout the community. As a member of this organization, I have been given the opportunity to assist with Admitted Student's Day for ODU, Paint the Town Blue for Homecoming, The Breastival for breast cancer awareness in the month of October, assist with blood pressure maintenance on campus, be involved with IPE Day for the College of Health Sciences, and much more. This organization also gave me the chance to attend the VNSA Convention in Radford, Virginia. This organization has enabled me the opportunity to form life-long friendships, communication skills, and community service hours while in the nursing program at ODU. I am forever appreciative for my ability to become involved with SNA during my time at ODU.
